She is not alone and Carnival has listened with the recently introduced SerenitySM, an adults only relaxation area. Close your eyes and imagine an area with plush chaise lounges and two whirlpools, and hearing nothing but the sound of the frothing waves churning beneath you and the soft sea breezes caressing the teak wood decks. You have found paradise. This is all a part of Carnival’s “Evolutions of Fun,” a $250 million ship refurbishment initiative for the line’s Fantasy-class ships.

In fact, they’ve gone crazy with new amenities such as Carnival WaterWorks, an aqua park with a cascading water slide, dual-lane racing slide and various water spray apparatuses for the whole family. Soak up the sun at the redesigned resort-style main pool, or pamper yourself in the updated spa facilities. Enjoy new music and entertainment venues, and much more to round out the “Evolutions of Fun.”
